  • This is sushi for true sushi lovers (NOT fans of Cowfish). If you don't know the difference between Toro and Akami then you may not fully appreciate the caliber of fresh fish Yama puts in their rolls. Yama is the absolute best sushi I have had anywhere. If you're a cooked sushi fan try "Big Mike's" a delicious take on surf n' turf (off-menu), if sashimi tuna is your thing try "HM roll", and for eel "Uptown". Not only is Yama the best sushi in town, it is the best sushi I have ever had anywhere. You can get fresher sashimi in Sydney, Tokyo, LA, Honolulu but the rolls at Yama and the caliber of fresh ingredients used makes this my favorite sushi restaurant.
