Easily one of the best hikes I have ever been on. We went in late May and started the hike around 730AM to avoid the high heat of the day. I would like to try this again during the fall and make use of the natural hot springs located throughout the hike. Wading out in the Colorado river at the end point was a nice reward for not turning around half way through the hike. From there, it was challenging to hike back the way we came in going up through the wash. Bring plenty of water for the return hike!
