  • Believe all the horrible reviews. We have been with Roundpoint since having our mortgage sold 3 years ago. We didn't have an issue until last month when we changed property insurance. We have changed before without an issue but for some reason this year they are acting like they have never done this before. It has been lie after lie and delay after delay. My insurance is due tomorrow and no one at Roundpoint has a clue as to where my check is. I was told a check was cut on May 29th but when I called today and talked to a supervisor I was told maybe it wasn't sent out yet because they didn't get a bill until June 6th. If that is the case how did they cut a check a whole week earlier?!? I am now being told they are going to have to do a check trace that could take 3 days and they "will call me when they find it" Excuse me? How about I take over a month to make my next payment and how that works out for me? And guaranteed I will call them before they call me. They are holding MY MONEY that needs to be sent to insurance hostage. My next step is to pull all escrow from them to ensure everything is paid on time. That way they no longer make money off of holding my escrow, I'll gladly keep the interest made off of my account to myself. If I could refi at a lower rate I would be gone in a second. Stay away from Roundpoint!
