| - I must relate my personal experience with this company and it is not pretty or consumer friendly, it's ugly! My family member was prescribed a CPAP fortunately I had a job who's health insurance's provider was Dean Health Plan, a Home Health provider. During the middle of this, I changed jobs well, whaddya know? my new job's health insurance carrier did not have Home Health United as their preferred provider therefore, the coverage of the CPAP was dropped. Home Health refused to contact the new health insurance, demanded that we put "patient owned" on the CPAP machine (so we could not return it to them), and demanded we pay $1500.00 immediately. We asked them to let us sort this out, their response; they hired the Heuer Law Firm out of Milwaukee (a debt collector) who filed to sue us in Dane County court, really? Home Health United or Home Medical Equipment as they are known by Heuer are NOT consumer friendly, they are greedy. They made no effort to work with us once we found their CPAP equipment might not be covered under the new insurance carrier. They turned our account over to their bottom feeder law firm on retainer, Heuer. Shameful, please beware of this company consumers!
