| - This place is such an incredible, family owned restaurant! I am so happy that we finally stopped in for lunch recently.
I was nearby at Costco, filling up my tank, and was starving. I thought Greek food sounded yummy, and I knew this place was close, so we decided to try it.
First of all, it's really cute. I love the décor, with the blue chairs and the mural of Greece on the wall.
We entered the restaurant and were immediately greeted by a nice young guy at the counter. When we said we were eating in, he said we could sit anywhere we'd like, and he brought us menus.
We decided to share hummus to start. It was really tasty and served with fresh pita bread, as well as pita chips. I think the chips may have been baked and they were really the highlight - they were SO good!
Then we shared the gyro plate, even though I wasn't sure it would be enough food. Boy was I wrong! It was more than enough for 2 hungry people and it was so delicious. The meat was some of the tastiest I have ever had, the tzatziki was fresh and the salad was huge!
The service was pretty much invisible, which is totally OK. I don't need a lot of attention to enjoy my meal. It's a family owned place, and everyone was very friendly.
We really enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to going back again soon.
