Il Bosco was a very pleasant recommendation from a friend. We sat outside on the small patio and let the aroma of burning oak wood waft over us as we ate. We had the fried ravioli appetizer followed by the prosciutto, fig, & arugula pizza and the sausage & mushroom pizza. The pizza was delicious. I'd put it on par with another valley favorite, Pomo.
What made the experience special was meeting the owner Bill and his son. Bill is an example of a life well-lived and his warmth and enthusiasm was pleasant.
We don't live close by, but when in the area, I would definitely go back to Il Bosco.
