  • At $23 for the brunch buffet, I was glad we had M-Life 2 for 1 credits. You can go to the Breakfast or Lunch buffet Mon-Fri for $19, but the weekends only offer brunch and dinner ($25). For the most part if you've been to one buffet in Vegas, you've been to them all. Unless you want to pay top dollar for the Bellagio or Caesar's, you can expect the same fare at any buffet. Having eaten at the Flamingo one day and now the Luxor, they are quite comparable. The Buffet at Luxor is hidden away from the rambunctiousness of the casino, located on a quieter lower level. I really liked the atmosphere in here, it felt like a family restaurant on a Saturday morning rather than a noisy casino buffet. The staff were friendly and fast; this buffet allows you to get your own beverages (soft drinks, milk, coffees, teas) and on Saturday offered free Mimosas at the bar. There is a huge salad bar and then the typical eggs, bacon, sausages, biscuits & gravy. There were a couple of twists here, like made-to-order omelets, curried chicken, potato pancakes, and Eggs Benedict with salmon instead of Canadian bacon. That *sounded good, but it turns out I did not care for smoky salmon on my otherwise delicious Eggs Benedict. The chef is a master at making perfectly poached eggs, I'll give him that! The scrambled eggs were fluffy and perfect, not curdled and hard the way some buffet eggs are, and the bacon was crispy. There is a huge selection of beautiful, whimsical little dessert pastries that had some surprises inside, delighting my kids. The whole meal was a relaxing, delicious escape from the frenetic casinos and I would definitely go back.
