| - Lebowski or should I say Lee- average?
Service here is like an old, coal freight train, at first wasn't getting any traction. We weren't even noticed, we sat in the corner like an neglected red headed step child. But, once we were noticed, the service started rolling at a steady pace.
The atmosphere was comfortable like any basic neighborhood bar. The outside patio, is outside. The place needs more TVs and although regulars and locals go here, it felt a little bit congested inside. It had a nice rug that tied the room together.
All of the food were spin offs from the movie for the most part. However, I chose the Jerk style burger and like honest Abe, I can't tell a lie. It was wicked good. The jerkiyaki glaze, pineapple and pepper- jack was more on point than a German Short-hair. I don't know if it's because I ask for a medium cooked burger or if it was from all of the sauce but the bun was a little soggy like a Cherri-o left in a cereal bowl. But I ate every bite. Take note, the chips are from a bag you'd find in a pantry and not housemade.
Lastly the White Russian. Oh the White Russian. Like a keystone in an arch, without the White Russian to lean on, this place would crumble. But my God, the White Russian here are something out of a dream. The Dude would be impressed and proud. Best White Russian I have ever had and best in Charlotte. I recommend going here strictly to try it.
Overall, Lebowski's is a very chill, easy- going, laid back, average, neighborhood bar. Probably won't change ever and everyone is happy the way it is. I recommend going there with the boys for a burger and of course a While Russian. But if you are trying to watch a game, not the best option. Once the service gets started, it's not half bad. Thanks for the White Russians Lebowski's.
