I was pleasantly impressed by Mon Ami Gabi during my last visit to Vegas. The venue is spacious and perfect for large groups, and it has an ideal location for the Bellagio show, if seated at the patio.
Their system was a tad odd even with a reservation. You still had to get in the main line and then they give you a buzzer. The wait was about 15-20 minutes as predicted for inside seating. What can you do anyways, Vegas will always be about the lines!
Plenty of french bistro dishes. The escargots were too buttery in my opinion. I barely tasted the garlic or parsley but of course the sauce was delicious to dip the fresh baguettes that kept coming to our table. My family is huge on baguettes! We had to stop ourselves from getting too full! The pate de campagne, mousse, smoked salmon, and french onion soup were all too delicious! I usually don't order a steak at french bistros but I am so glad I did! The filet mignon au merlot medium rare was absolutely DELICIOUS! I don't even think I ever ate such a steak that quickly in awhile! I replaced the french fries with some pomme puree and boy I am glad I did!!!! Simple but it hit the spot just right. I also tried some moules and they were surely plumped. Their brown sugar mule cocktail was a bust though. It had too much ginger to my liking.
Total recommend! I would definitely come back for dinner and even to try out their brunch!!! Yelp didn't lie with all the reviews this time around :)
