  • I have to say that living in Vegas for 6 years and being able to enjoy this place was wonderful. Unfortunately this last visit I was very disappointed. The staff was not friendly, didn't even say hello when I walked into the office. I had to announce that I was checking in (luckily I have been here before). They didn't speak more then 4 words to me. The next day there was a miscommunication with bring dogs. And I was charged for letting them into the cabin for no more then 30 min because it was 27 degrees outside and snowing. I was not about to leave them in the car or outside and they are not allowed in the restaurant/lodge. The manager was rude and very snooty towards me and cut me off every time I was trying to explain. The reasoning was that people are deathly allergic to dogs and stay in these cabins. Well I know you can not be deathly allergic but when you clean a room it should be completely cleaned so that any allergen is gone it shouldn't be different because a dog stayed there. If the cabin had been messier then usual or damaged I would have understood. I finally could tell there was no discussion that could happen so I said it's fine just charge my card. When I took the keys into the office the lady didn't say hello AGAIN! Took my bag and said nothing! I said thank you and waved and still had no response. Along with all of this I had planned to take some pictures at the cabins with the doggie gear that my dog is a brand rep for and tag them in the posts on social media. I had every intention of praising them for being so dog friendly but I was heart broken to know that a place I have truly loved visiting could be so rude. I understand the charge but the rude nature of the staff and unhelpful attitude was so discouraging. I can't say I'll never stay at the cabins again but I won't be as keen to support the local business as I was once before.
