I should have known that prescription delivery was too good to be true. I had to go through this pharmacy for a specialty face cream from my dermatologist. I called to verify my information and they kind of pushed the delivery on me but I wasn't complaining because their location is out of the way for me. The woman on the phone was helpful (the extra stars are for that) and told me the delivery would be for the next day around noon.
I made sure that I was home for my expected delivery and the driver did call me and I missed the initial call but called back twice less than two minutes later with no answer. A few minutes later I hear something being aggressively thrown onto my porch (although I didn't know where or what the sound was because I live in an apartment so abnormal sounds aren't out of the norm) well, turns out that sound was my prescription being carelessly thrown onto my porch. The delivery driver didn't bother to knock which I would have answered since I was home. Just threw it and left. The prescription specifically says on the package that it should be kept away from heat and leaving a prescribed facial cream on somebody's porch on a 80 degree day is just careless on their behalf. I would have understood if they had taken it back to the pharmacy and had me pick it up instead if they would have explained their drivers don't know how to knock on a door.
Another note, this prescription was supposed to be signed for insurance purposes and they didn't get that either but they expect me to sign and send it back to them when this could have been completed with a simple knock on a door. Never again will I allow any doctor to send a prescription of mine to this pharmacy.
