| - Good, bare-bones gym to lift free weights and more. Classes available, too, for Zumba et al. Have been a couple times to get a work-out in while in town, and have been satisfied. I wish there was more room for stretching (and better mats for that), but it's workable, if a little rough on the cement floor.
Showers are here, and coed lorckerrooms (bring a lock, btw).
There's a boxing ring area, too, though I haven't seen that in action, personally.
Having only been a guest here twice, I can't vouch for their memberships. You may do a Free 7 Day membership if you're local.
I see gym-rats and seniors here working it (and occasionally, senior gym-rats). Some folks have trainers here, and especially, if you're looking to get yourself back into some sort of physical workout situation, the trainer thing seems a very good idea. The one trainer I saw in action seemed to be a good listener, and was in good shape himself.
Bring your own towel. And their post-workout drink selection includes the one I like to get at my L.A. gym.
