07/11/17 - I wish I could give negative stars.
It happened again. After having to contact the fire department and having my car towed to this location I was reassured that they had my leak fixed. Well, it wasn't. I went to fill my gas tank on 07/11/17, after their repair, and once again I was greeted by the sight of fuel leaking from my car. I opted against the rigmarole of having to call the fire department AGAIN and just drove the car there myself. I was asked to speak to the manager in the service bay, presumably so the other customers in the lobby wouldn't hear about how badly they screwed up, and was apologized to and assured they'd fix it this time.
I got my car back the next day and topped it off. No leak. So far it seems like they've finally got it right. Only took four tries.
I've transported not only myself, but my young son and siblings not knowing that Midas' shoddy work was putting our lives at risk.
And now I'm wondering about something else. This whole thing started because I could smell fuel, obviously a leak. Their initial fix of replacing the pump didn't fix the issue. Was that even a necessary repair? Did Midas rip me off in addition to performing subpar work? I'm definitely escalating this. I'm not going away until someone answers for this.
