I am giving this place 2 stars..
Pros=
The antiques are very cool! Whether it be the vaseline glassware, vintage clothes,or clip-on earrings! The bar at the soda fountain was incredible too & it's been around since 1929! The wooden booths in the restaurant were neato too.
Cons=
Walked in on a wednesday night at 6:30 and felt obligated to hurry out.. the employees were not very welcoming & when i asked the time they close, they said 7.
I don't care if it's 5 minutes before close..be courteous to customers..it's the holiday season.
I asked if it was too late to order food & the young girl said "no".(then looked at her friend and smirked like it was an issue or out of the way for her). I felt bad,so i didn't bother to get a shake or anything..shame because i heard they have great desserts made from Thriftys ice cream :/ .
They need to hire employees who are more knowlegable with antiques. I think they should hire veterans who need jobs & perhaps grew up in the 40's or served in the vietnam war who enjoys talking about old times & appreciates talking about retro stuff.
O well
