Went to this place twice because I liked it enough the first time to come back again - the second time with my family (a total group of 7).
FOOD: I really enjoyed this place because of how many options you get given the conveyor belt. You start off with a soup base - the first time I tried the spicy soup base which I didn't like too much but 2nd time I got the tomato soup which reminded me a lot of Thai tom yum soup yum! We ordered the beef combo which comes with a generous amount of meat for around $17. My go to items for the conveyor belt are the rice cake, tofu, and fish balls but haven't really had the chance to try everything. All in all, I understand how people can get lost or feel overwhelmed with the menu.
SERVICE: Main reason for a 3 star rating instead of 5 is because of how my family and I were initially treated when we came in. We came in around 11:30p looking to try their buy one get one on the conveyor belt stuff. When we came in, I told the host we had a party of 7 and a lady said "Uhhhh 7?" And continued to quickly walk away saying something I didn't understand. Right when we were seated, the same lady told us that we need to "please hurry and order quick" because the kitchen closed in 10 minutes. What? Your hours say you close at 12:30a? Then, a male server approached our table immediately and asked us if we were ready to order even though we weren't even given menus yet! He then started to tell us that they weren't doing the buy one get one special since it was a holiday, but it was Dec 29? By this time, I was so annoyed and ready to leave but decided to stay since we drove all this way and was really excited for my family to try this place. The male server then continued to tell us that we need to hurry because their kitchen is closed and I asked if we could still get stuff from the conveyor belt and he said they were closing it down very soon and we may not have time. So we quickly got our food from the conveyor belt and during this time, we were told multiple times by the same and different people that they closed in 5 mins. Ok, ok I get it that's why we're rushing. The lady came back to our table and asked "did you order yet??". I was shocked - your hours say you close at 12:30. Keep the kitchen open until then or change your hours! I know not to expect much in terms of service for restaurants in Chinatown but this was just unacceptable.
