  • New to town and still looking like the cat dragged me in from my 5 hr drive over from SD, I decided to Yelp Salons and I came upon this local charm. Mood Swings has a nice location on S Mill Ave. Walk a few stairs up to the second floor and scope out the super high ceilings and colorful decor. The space is what Salons should look like in this day and age. Anyway, to make a long story short, I walked in completely busted and came out simply dashing, in a manly type way. It was all courtesy of Alex, super stylist from Ipanema. Unlike many stylists I've worked with in the past, she paid great attention to detail, made me feel special like a customer should feel, and didn't rush me out the door looking like Joe the Plumber. Texturizing takes time and focus people! A nice head massage, followed by a snip, snip, two amazing hand massages and a rinse later, I felt like a new man ready to conquer the world! If only all Salons could be this KOOOOOL.
