  • What a fantastic place! I have stayed in the Mandalay a few times (I think 5) and I had never been to this restaurant. I think in part that the bar is blocking the lovely ambiance of the back so it looks too casual from the casino side. The manager knew it was my birthday and came baring glasses of champagne and an AMAZING Truffle Onion Veloute Shooters in little martini glasses. We then proceeded to order family style: Delicious Caesar Salad- parmesan, lavash, anchovy, truffle Seared Pork Gyoza with garlic ponzu and green onion Duck Terrine which is a duck breast confit terrine with picked veggies and a celery root remoulade Black Garlic Escargot in a puff pastry crouton Heirloom tomato, smoked duck breast and burrata salad They are all amazing and I will definitely be coming back. At the end of the meal, they brought me a candle in a cake with my name on the plate in chocolate as well as a card with a recipe in it as my gift. I wish I knew what all the ingredients are to make it but I'll attempt one of these days!
