| - Do not even consider using this company.
Really.
From racist jokes during pickup, to horrible communication issues ("we'll have him call you right away" - no callbacks, ever), to final bills over a thousand dollars more than estimated, to condescending customer service ("Are you finished?", the man asks me after I listed everything that had gone wrong), to outright lies ("You were called yesterday by the movers to inform you they'd be there today..." - nope, we were given 20 minutes notice), to inane financial policies (they accept cash or p.o. money order - I had to find someone at 7pm on Saturday to cash a Cashier's Check drawn on Chase Bank. Cost me $70; clearly anyone remotely savvy with payments knows a cashier's check is as good as cash)... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I cannot stress this enough. I promise you that you will have a better experience with virtually any other moving company. Or, do it yourself. These guys are the prototypical fly-by-nights that load all your shit into their truck and then take you to the cleaners. Tom, the guy who will probably respond to this to refute it all with outright lies, wrote an email to my wife where he tries to throw me under the bus - "your husband was screaming at Itay" - not knowing that my wife was standing right there and shares EXACTLY the same feelings. Don't believe him. I have no reason to write such a negative review other than having an absolutely horrendous experience.
They busted up a $600 TV stand, but since they compensate by weight and not by value, they told us we'd get $50 for it. Which, we never got (it's been three months).
There was so much stress with this company, so many meltdowns, so much headache... please, please do not give them your money.
