  • Aaah Celebration Square, where do I begin? I have so many memories in this place I can't even begin to describe it. This square is what makes Mississauga stand out in the GTA; with all the activities, festivals, and celebrations that take place in here, you're bound to find something for you and your family. The annual Rotary Rib Fest is great, as well as the annual Christmas Tree lighting. The square is a host to an array of multicultural festivals that really highlight the beautiful diversity of Mississauga. The splash pool up top turns into an ice skating rink during winter, with music and lights playing for a better experience. It's always clean and smoke free (luckily), and there are always many food trucks during summer to choose from. Sports and movie nights run all summer long, just be sure to follow them on Facebook to check based on weather. Also, whenever there's a crowd, Mississauga goes above and beyond to secure the place and have paramedics ready on hand, just in case. TLDR; a great place to take the family to, especially during summer. Bring a bathing suit for the little ones to splash around, and don't forget to check out all the food trucks :)
