  • A good board game cafe alternative to the popular Snakes and Lattes. Came here as a party of five on a Wednesday night. Did not have to wait for a table. Tables are charged at a variable rate of $2.50/hr per person (vs. $5 flat cover at Snakes and Lattes). Game selection is maybe half of what you'll find at Snakes but you will find all the classics at Castle, from definitive titles such as Monopoly and Jenga, to newer classics like Catan, Carcassonne. Newer popular games are also likely to be found on the shelves. Cafe menu offered a good selection of sweet drinks and desserts, with beer available on tap. Servers were prompt and friendly during our visit with no noticable delays in receiving our orders. Overall a pleasant experience and a worthy recommendation for any group of friends looking to play some board games when Snakes and Lattes is too packed.
