  • I don't like posting bad reviews but the wedding process is very stressful and I want to make sure I warn potential brides and quinceañeras before making a decision. I must say for the price, I guess it wasn't so bad but I must say Jasmine Gardens did things that were extremely questionable for a wedding venue that has been operating for years and should know how to handle receptions by now. The bartender started handing out mixed drinks and did not tell my guests the beer and wine I bought were complimentary despite them asking. My mother in law caught him doing this and told him straight up what he was doing was NOT part of the contract. I have cousins who work in restaurants and know how to serve beer and clearly saw the bartender was serving them incorrectly from the keg. The DJ kept making irritating and stupid mistakes like calling the father of the groom up for the father and bride dance and kept getting our names mixed up. I also requested numerous times to announce the cake cutting but he didn't announce it until around 9:30 or 10ish. ALSO, I sent the DJ a list of my songs a month before the wedding to the correct email but when I called THREE days before the reception he claims he never received any email from me. I sent it again to the same email and he then said received it. Hmm, I wonder what would have happened if I wasn't paranoid enough to call him to check? Which brings me to the cake, it took us 20 damn minutes to get someone to bring me and my husband a stupid plate so we can cut the cake. It took them another century to have someone serve the cake. Keep in mind they served the cake so late, around 10pm and many of my guests had already left. So much cake went to waste. I can name a few other things such as one of the staff being extremely rude to my mother refusing to serve my guests food despite them knowing that I was running late and they did not have their doors open at 6pm like they promised. We had family knocking on the door various times and waited 15 minutes before someone opened the door. I'm glad I had supportive family who because of them, things ran smoothly but I HIGHLY recommend to choose another venue. NOTE: I left a message 2 days ago regarding my complaints and of course no response. Once they have your money, they don't care. WARNING: If you do decide on this venue, keep ALL invoices and receipts. Jose had the nerve to call me saying I did not pay $1000. How do you not keep track of this? Thank goodness I kept my receipts.
