  • I stayed 2 nights at this hotel for a business trip in September 2011 and again August 2012. My company paid for the entire stay. Location It is very easy to get to/from the airport, about 15 minutes each way. There are a variety of restaurants and shops within walking distance (but when it's 107, you probably want to just drive over). Suites I had requested a king suite. The room (323 and 336) was very roomy, the desk and computer chair were comfortable to work at. The bathroom was large, with the sink and counter area in one room, the bathtub in another room and a stall shower in another room with the toilet. A good amount of room around the sink area for makeup bags, etc. The hotel was very quiet at night. I found the bed to be very comfortable and was able to regulate the room temperature easily. The hvac was not noisy, I put the fan on low so that I didn't have to hear the compressor go on and off all night long (but I do sleep with a white noise machine so that does help). Also, having the 2 sets of doors to close off the bed area, keeps all of the hallway noise out when you are sleeping. There are 2 tvs in the suite, with a nice living room and refrigerator. Check In Check-in was easy, no lines at 7pm, two front desk personnel on hand. I received my standard Marriott requested items. Hotel Staff The hotel staff is friendly. Housekeeping did a good job every day. However, there is some serious dust under things like the night table radio when I moved it to set it and the HVAC vent. Parking The parking lot is very large and underground. They offer valet, but self-park is fine as you can park right near the elevator. I'm normally a valet girl just because of having luggage and a laptop bag to fuss with, as I don't like to have to haul all this stuff from the car, through a garage or a large outdoor lot to my room. But this was fine. Restaurants/Bar/Room Service The lobby restaurant and bar is friendly, fast service and a nice selection of food and drinks. I had dinner one night there and enjoyed my meal. Other The hotel has two machines in the lobby to print out your airline boarding pass. Pool/Fitness Center I did not have time to use/visit the pool or use the fitness equipment. The fitness center has been relocated during construction. The pool looked nice and is outdoors as is the hot tub. GPS/Cell Phone/Internet My gps worked fine getting around the entire area and got me to the correct location every time. Cell phone service was perfect everywhere in the hotel. Hotel internet worked easily and very well (cost was $12.95 per day). Hertz This hotel has a Hertz rental agent onsite. I didn't use it for this trip but have used this in the past at other hotels and can be quite useful for pick up and drop off if you don't need to get your car at the airport. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again and recommend it to my co-workers for future travel.
