  • Recently opened on Gerrard and Yonge. I found out about this place through the fabfind free $5 voucher to Shakeolait. Greeted by an asian staff member, who seem to be new to all the ice cream flavours, so it was difficult asking her about the different flavours they offer. She seemed confused about which name corresponded with which ice cream, despite the labelling. The ice cream, on the other hand, was delicious. I think it was the turtles, with caramel, pecans and brownie bits. Shakeolait also offers a wide variety of smoothies and milkshakes of your favourite chocolate snack. Pricing starts at $3.95 for a small. I chose the ferroro rocher. It was quite a disappointing drink. I don't know what it was but it was really watered down (or just too much milk?). I didn't taste any sweetness or even the ferrero rocher itself. I don't think I'll be back after this disappointing turnout.
