  • So after eating a seriously mediocre meal at Roaring Fork for the BF's birthday, we decided to get dessert here. This place is crazy looking... all pink and old school. I wouldn't say it's nice.... it's kitschy. We ordered the tin roof (vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and peanuts). Well it came out.... but didn't have any whipped cream. Come to find out they are out of whipped cream.... well that sucks for an ice cream place. And again birthday fail. But the ice cream was good, especially in combo with the peanuts, but nothing super special. The vanilla did have little black dots in it, which I think is important to vanilla ice cream in my opinion. Well... the BF liked it, so that's what matters.
