We went here for a culinary experience and a professional chef was in our party. It was a great atmosphere and the staff was good to us. We must have ordered everything on the menu! We went all out and our chef was recommending things and asking questions we would have never. I honestly can't remember each dish and all the things we enjoyed. What I do recall is the duck. We were skeptical and our chef buddy said that if they can nail a duck dish, they are golden! It was awesome. It was the crispy duck confit. Served with red wine jus and spaetzle. It was perfectly cooked and a great piece of meat.
The night contained with more great food and drink but that duck was the highlight. The service was ok but nothing great. They were knowledgable about the food but couldn't really talk to much more than what the main ingredients were. Our chef friend was asking very technical questions to be fair. Overall a cool restaurant with interesting dishes and a cool oven.
