| - I'm new to the Phoenix area and this was my first, stand alone gun store that I checked out. (I had gone to Cabela's and a gun show at the fairgrounds.) I was immediately approached by a burly guy named Ken who was real easy to talk with and took the time to answer the many questions that I had about the Arizona gun laws, and in paticular, the CCW laws. Although I had done a little research on my own, I found some discrepancies in his interpretation of the laws. But this doesn't reflect the store, just one employee.
The store is spacious and well laid out with a good selection of firearms and accessories. I did find the prices to be on par with what you might find online with some exceptions on clothing and holsters. If you need something right now, chances are they will have it. You might have to pay a little more for it, but not much. Plus, for that little extra cost, you get the touch/feel factor that you can't get with mail order. Well worth it.
The indoor gun range seems well made and priced to similar ranges that I have been to. Although I did not use that facility, I will try it at a later date for sure.
Bottom line: I don't have any other gun stores in Phoenix to compare it to, with the exception of Cabela's and a somewhat disappointing gun show. This was a positive experience and will at some point in time return to purchase equipment or to use their indoor range.
