  • The BEST Holiday Inn west of the Atlantic Ocean! Jay Jay is THE man. Seriously. I had friends flying across country to celebrate a 30th birthday and I was a little weary of staying at the Holiday Inn. But the one at Center City exceeded each and every expectation. Beautifully designed, so much detail in the rooms and common areas. And while I love, love, love Jay Jay, every other staff person was accommodating and personable and over the top friendly. I'm from the South and it was heartwarming to experience true customer service. There is no other place to stay in Charlotte in my mind, especially given the ideal location in the middle of Uptown.
