  • Oh Trader Joe's, how I love thee! This store is still relatively new and is absolutely beautiful. It is bright, clean, and welcoming. There are always ample amounts of registers being manned by helpful and knowledgeable staff. I have never had to wait more than a couple minutes to check out, even during peak busy times. I live about two miles from the East Liberty location, but I have abandoned that store completely and now come to this location despite the longer drive. Everything about this location is better than East Liberty. The parking lot is larger, the staff is much more friendly, and it is generally less packed at all times. I always found myself fighting through crowds at the East Liberty store, making it an entirely negative experience. I love driving up north to this Trader Joe's and being able to actually enjoy my grocery shopping. TJ's has so many foods that I adore that you just can't find anywhere else. A few favorites of mine are the chicken pot pie ravioli, the chili lime chicken burgers, the asparagus risotto, and the black bean and cheese taquitos. I love to stock up on freezer foods at Trader Joe's, but their fresh fruits and veggies are also fantastic. As always, I find that the prices at Trader Joe's are much more affordable than local competitors (cough, Giant Eagle, cough). My wallet is happy, my tummy is happy...what more could you ask for?! I will continue to frequent Trader Joe's for all of my grocery needs!
