  • First off I want to say how happy I am for such a great ramen place to be so close to home. As soon as you walk in you'll notice the detailed decor. It's super cute and very well planned out. It reminds me of a little Japanese village you might see illustrated in a book or in a old Japanese film. It's not just the counter seating but if you look up you will see the lanterns and the set up they have in the nooks of the walls. Then there's the food. I love most things spicy so when I first came I ordered the spicy tonkatsu miso ramen with an egg even though you have to order it separately, I gotta have an egg. Lol That was delicious and now here for the second time I couldn't wait to have it again. It's not spicy to where you can't enjoy your meal. It's just the right amount of spice, because they know that's why you ordered it. I love the noodles, always soft and just the right size. The toppings in the ramen are what make the broth more flavorful. As you eat you can taste all the different things but at the same time nothing over powers another. We also tried the umeboshi Onigiri, which is pickled plum inside a rice ball. This brought me back to my grandmother. Being raised in a Japanese house, when we were sick we were given umeboshi Onigiri and tea, it brought back memories. We also ordered the gyoza, honestly it's nothing to be excited about. It's a fried pot sticker, something I feel you can make at home. My overall feel for this place is amazing. Love, love, love it!! The waitresses are super nice and very friendly. Always making sure everything is alright and filling up your cup. Brought my brother back this time only for him to love it too. I will continue to be coming back and bringing more people.
