  • This is what a concert hall is supposed to be like. Fantastic acoustics. I have never seen a bad show at Massey Hall. You can also really tell when the artist you are seeing does true acoustics and they sound just as good (or even better) than their recordings (i.e. my main man Elvis Costello). The little bar in the basement is cozy and great for pre show drinks. The vibe at Massey Hall, every time I have been anyway, is always much more civilized and kind. I find most people are there for the truly amazing sound experience and the intimacy of the place. Cannot recommend this place enough. Even the bathrooms are nice!
