  • I bought a Living Social deal for cleaning, exam, x-rays and whitening. They were all very professional and did a great job and then they gave me the estimate for a dental treatment program... discounted to $7500!!!!!!!!!!! My teeth are nice and I take pretty good care of them so I had my x-rays sent to my friend in NY. Then when I was home for Thanksgiving I went to see him. gave me two new enamel crowns and filled 2 cavities- white and I paid $1680! These were not "friends' prices" or anything, they were charged as he would anyone else. He told me that the treatment program they had given me was very aggressive; that much of the work was unnecessary and that the rest was high-priced. I won't be going back to Central Dental. I think it's typical of the health profession to do unnecessary work and get the patient on a payment plan.... I'm disappointed and very thankful to have a friend in the business.
