  • I absolutely cannot say enough great things about this camera store and their employee Suzanne. I met Suzanne at Shutterfest in St. Louis, I took her card and then decided to buy a used Profoto B1 head. She treated me so very well we went through all the options and she surprised me with the same freebies that Profoto WA giving away with new purchases. When there was a problem with my purchase she patiently walked me through to discover the nearly pristine head was damaged and would not fire. Then, she sent me an even more pristine head and she updated it to the B1X high speed sync software. She makes sure you receive and review several invoices to make sure you are getting exactly what you need. If they have something you want to buy that is out of stock, they will send you the item from rental stock to tide you over til your product comes. Last week I ordered more used gear and Suzanne gave me a better than eBay price on two used Profoto D1 heads and even surprised me again with a few more goodies. The equipment came within days as I need it on a shoot on Tuesday. She made excellent suggestions. I have spent about $4500 with Dodd this year. I have only dealt with Suzanne. I am so very glad that I met her at Shutterfest! She is a dedicated and knowledgeable employee and a wonderful patient person. Dodd in Cleveland is my camera store and Suzanne is my camera equipment consultant extraordinaire. I live outside of Chicago near the Dodd store here. I will be going to pick stuff up from that location soon, but I will always call Dodd in Cleveland and Suzanne first before making a major equipment purchase. Their prices and device cant be beat!
