I had a very positive experience when I went here the first time but the second visit wasn't so great...in fact so negative that I likely won't go there again.
While I feel like the place is quite spacious and clean for being in the city. During my most recently experience, I had a 12 year old girl give me a pedicure. Now, I can't verify she was that young, but she looked like she was still in middle school. But hey, kids need summer jobs.
I feel like all started out well and the polish job she did was very well done. Here's the part which won't bring me back. I noticed that she was cutting my nails...I thought it was just to trim them all but then realized she had already done this so I looked down to see that she was cutting the sides of my big toenails at an angle. I've never had this done before and at this point I didn't say anything because she had already finished doing it to both feet.
The next few days I noticed that it was painful to walk and put pressure on my big toes, especially the left foot. When I took a closer look to see what was causing the pain, it became clear that the portion she trimmed at an angle was to blame. That was where the pain was emanating for both feet. It's been a few weeks later and it still causes me pain if I put pressure on it from certain angles.
I'm just waiting for it to grow out so I can get a proper pedicure where they don't cut your nails and weird angles.
