  • We're new to the Plaza Midwood area and we were so excited to have a coffee shop within walking distance. The food tasted great and we both loved our coffees! There are other things on the menu I'm excited to try as well! However, this has a very "get your coffee and leave" type of feel. Most of the seating is small and crowded, feeling especially cramped when there's a line forming and people are standing so close to where you're sitting. Plus, there's only one two-seater table outside. One of the things I love about Charlotte is all the outdoor patios at coffee shops and restaurants - but that doesn't exist here. Another thing this hurts - not pet friendly. Everywhere in Charlotte is dog-friendly! Without outdoor seating, Central Coffee can't offer that. So, in short: quick in and out = good food and good coffee! If you're wanting to relax and sit around or walk your dog = not a good pick!
