If I could give less stars I would. And reflecting on the situation now I clearly should have called the police. If I wasn't passed the 24 hour mark I would contact them.
Worst experience of my life! Not only did they reserve me a vehicle they didn't have but I have never been so shocked by an employee! After arguing with me about what I rented the agent Chris proceeded to stand up, remove his hat and approach my boyfriend. I'm not sure where this man was raised, but that's aggressive and threatening, which is illegal. Then Chris proceeded to tell me he didn't have to rent to me. After sitting in my car extremely upset on the phone with customer care I was instructed to go back inside and hand my phone to Chris. At which point Chris was again not helpful. After speaking to the agent Chris told me I could take the only car on the lot (even tho I reserved a full size truck) and drive it to the airport or anywhere else because it was after 12pm he was closed and was going home. I'm EXTREMELY up set that A I wasn't able to rent the vehicle I reserved. B that I was spoken to and threatened that way. C that this man has a job. And finally D that I am now 3 days behind, missing my fathers birthday and have let my family down because I said I would take care of the rental. I have spoken to more employees and customer service agents than I would care to admit. I have filed official complaints on Saturday as well as today. I'm wondering if customer service is still something AMERICAN companies value? Because after what I've gone through I'm wondering why I don't go with a different company. As far as Chris goes, he should be fired. Oh and by the way, my boyfriend is a RETIRED WAR VETERAN. Guess him fighting for this country ends in a man threatening us.
