  • I did not stay in the Monte Carlo, but did spend some time there this trip and wanted to review that aspect. Convenient - The Monte Carlo was very convenient for us since it had a tram connecting it to the Aria/Crystals and the Bellagio. Made it nice to avoid the heat. Also, it's entrance from the Strip is closer to the street than some casinos, which was nice when trying to avoid the heat. Casino - Our preferred game is video poker, and then have several price points available - from $0.05 to $5. Some also had USB chargers for your phone, which was a very nice perk. Restaurants/Food - I liked that they had fast food up through nice dining, so you could have a variety of options nearby. Smoke - Though all casinos in Vegas have some smoking, it didn't feel smokey unless someone was actively smoking nearby. Restrooms - The restrooms felt very clean, in part because there seemed to be workers diligently cleaning it at regular intervals. (This was very much appreciated.) My only complaint is that the signs could be a little more clear throughout, since occasionally you would start walking one way (as directed), but then the desired place wouldn't be included on the next sign. People were very kind to help if turned around, but other casinos do seem to be a little better at this piece.
