  • Instead of educating, they just demonstrate by smearing on products and regurgitating random memorized sentences about them. After the peel, I walked out with large pores and sticky skin. Maybe the treatment was too rich for my skin type; I don't know. I was expecting a polished, informative session. Instead, I walked out feeling unclean and less than glamorous or beautiful. Really disappointing. --- In response to the comment from the spa, "different" (putting the word in quotes reads condescending rather than informed and understanding), means my skin felt dirty for the few hours I waited before washing everything off. And no, I didn't get the skin sloughed because I didn't want my hairs shaved off and run the risk of thicker hair growth coming in. And I'm not clear as to why you refer to the procedure as a facial. Your aesthetician was clear that a peel have nothing to do with a deep cleaning facial.
