Instead of educating, they just demonstrate by smearing on products and regurgitating random memorized sentences about them. After the peel, I walked out with large pores and sticky skin. Maybe the treatment was too rich for my skin type; I don't know. I was expecting a polished, informative session. Instead, I walked out feeling unclean and less than glamorous or beautiful. Really disappointing.

In response to the comment from the spa, "different" (putting the word in quotes reads condescending rather than informed and understanding), means my skin felt dirty for the few hours I waited before washing everything off. And no, I didn't get the skin sloughed because I didn't want my hairs shaved off and run the risk of thicker hair growth coming in.
And I'm not clear as to why you refer to the procedure as a facial. Your aesthetician was clear that a peel have nothing to do with a deep cleaning facial.
