  • UnderTow is great. There's no way around it. It hits all the right points for me. It's intimate, quirky, has a menu that is stoopid-good, and the mixologists are impressive. Watching Mitch mix up any one of the drinks on the menu is a real treat. His passion for the work really shines through. You can ask him about any one of the drinks and his knowledge about each ingredient is astounding. And like any good mixologist worth his salt, Mitch can hear your favorite drinks, flavors, ingredients, etc., and tell you exactly which drink you'd love from their menu. It's always fun to try new things this way, and I've yet to have a disappointing drink. The last best thing about UnderTow is they actually have a happy hour. This is extremely dangerous because their drinks don't mess around. Half-off their classic cocktails is an amazing deal, and there are about a dozen of them to choose from - including their $30 Scorpion Bowl, which serves 2-4. If I'm feeling like cocktails, this is now my go-to spot. I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do.
