| - Amazing again, it's been a year since we visited Dora at the Trattoria Reggiano. They've expanded without losing the intimate home kitchen feel. Dora made a strong balanced delicious Italian Sangria for us. The spaghetti puttanesca was full of capers, slices of garlic, kalamata olives, and fresh herbs. The garlic roll rivals the best garlic bread in any restaurant, lavishly brushed with butter and garlic. The bucatini frutti di mare is full of flavorful seafood, clams, shrimp, and little calamari. Of course, the lasagna al forno and spaghetti and meatballs are savory with fresh garlicky tomato sauce that you will want to soak up with the garlic rolls. Everything is fresh and simple, great basics make this Italian eatery a primary stop in the Venetian. It's easily comparable to Buddy V's, Carnevino, Maggiano's or any of the Italian pizzerias in the area. Dora, the manager, always stops by to kindly chat and make fantastic food recommendations. At the end of the meal, save room for a caramel drizzled cannoli and espresso or cappuccino.
July 2016 - We arrived late in the night but they were happy to seat us. We had the antipasto and Sangria with complimentary garlic bread. It was a beautiful presentation. Paulo took the best care of us. We felt like familia. Grazie.
