Newly opened Asian patisserie in the North York area. They have some interesting dessert offerings (e.g., oolong peach mousse) along with some classics (e.g., matcha sesame mousse). We got:
- Fenchiew mojito: Lime mousse with mint cream and sponge shortbread cookies as the base. This was my favourite as it was light but still had a hearty, filling quality to it. the lime wasn't overly sour and was balanced well by the light sweetness of the soft shortbread base.
- Fresh soy cream: Chiffon cake with chantilly cream and toasted soy powder. Standard tasting asian dessert, this was ok, properly creamy and not overly sweet.
- Perrier lychee yakult: Super sweet drink. Too bad because the sweetness of the lychee overwhelmed the drink so much so that I barely tasted the yakult flavour.
In addition, place was very spacious and clean, and service was quick and attentive. Overall a strong effort from a new place. If you want your Asian dessert/drink fix, this is a good place to go to in the area.
