| - When it comes to four month old baby needing heart surgery I don't think any place can make the nervous, terrified family feel calm. They did a good job. I would have said a great job, but after, when Kayden was waking up, they dropped the ball.
No one argued about the need for quiet, or limited vistors, however without the support being in the room the parents got edgy. We took turns going in and out, and I think we all followed the rules....until one nurse wasn't very caring. Then as a unit we made sure that the parents didn't have to deal with her one on one again.
We were respectful, we just made sure that she didn't upset our kids again.
It was clean, Dr and his back up Dr were grat, and most of the nurses were too.
I left the four stars because they don't have an easy job of dealing with families, and once checked she backed down, and removed herself mostly. Thereby saving their rating and probably the nurses arse, cause I for one was chopming at the bait.
