If I could leave a zero star review I would.
I got got by the cheap price bait and switch. I booked through Travelocity and supposedly got a great deal on a large SUV that was to be used in town to shuttle people. When I got to the pick up location I was instructed to wait in line to be helped. 15 minutes go by, 30 minutes, 45 minutes...at 47 minutes I was helped, if you can even call it that. I showed their employee a print out of my confirmation and he just laughed. He rudely said they do not rent out large vehicles like this to locals. I explained I had booked it online and he said they allow all bookings to go through and when you get to them they try to get you into another vehicle...if that isnt bait and switching, I don't know what is. There was no trying to get me into another car, no trying to find a solution, he just printed out a piece of paper and told me to have a great day. I asked him what I could do now that he couldn't help me and he just said "I don't know or care, have a great day" and gave me a smug smile. Now I am not a violent person but having been treated so poorly by someone who seemed happy to ruin my day, I can understand why some people become frustrated and physical with these types of employees. I will never do business with Advantage or Travelocity ever again. I have sent a more detailed complaint to the Arizona Attorney General for review as I feel strongly this was a case of discrimination by the employee and an instance of price bait and switch by Travelocity and Advantage.
