| - It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and all we wanted was a good burger.
Instead, we found a real treasure. Carlos, himself, greeted us at our table and from there it just kept getting better.
Fresh made, to order, nacho chips with fresh pico, real cheese, and guacamole were awesome. Beer battered onion rings were as good or better than any in the valley.
Then the burgers. The special burger for the day was the guacamole burger which made me raise an eyebrow but wow. Angus beef on rolls Carlos said he has shipped from a bakery in Chicago. The blend of the carmelized onions, pepperjack cheese, lettuce and tomato was so right, it was the first time I didn't need mustard, pickle nor ketchup. Then, the handcut fries are just that perfect crunch on the outside and puffy lightness in the middle.
There are so many things on the menu we want to try, we'll be back.... a LOT.
BTW - its next door to one of the cleanest sports bars I've ever encountered!
