  • Ok, I would love to give this Barnes & Noble more stars but just can't for two specific reasons. Sunlight and outlets. If you're like me and like to use coffeeshops and/or bookstore cafes to plug away on your laptop, these are two essential ingredients to make that experience pleasant (and likely make you stay longer & spend more money!). I personally love places that offer plenty of tables next to windows and have a good supply of outlets to use. Unfortunately at this Barnes & Noble, as soon as you walk in, you have to go straight back, past customer service (away from ALL store windows, which they have lots of!), and will have to work under an array of ceiling light fixtures and have to cross your fingers that you'll get a chance to plug your computer your into one of the only two outlets available! It's definitely a gamble. On the plus side, internet is FREE and the connection is really good. I love how they call it "complimentary," feels like you're at a shmancy hotel! The baristas are very nice too. I also can't say anything bad about the rest of the bookstore, it's a decent size, nicely organized, and clean. There's also plenty of parking outside.
