  • I came in the morning, late enough that I would not expect hot fresh doughnuts, however early enough I would not expect stale doughnuts. First I had to wait over ten minutes before the attendant came out, and only then it was because a worker from the subway hollered to her. I realize there is a lot of prep work in the morning and that it's hard to hear of someone is up front, but you should periodically check anyway. I.got 4 doughnuts, one chocolate cake doughnut, one apple fritter, one cronut, and one buttermilk bar. The fritter was great. Lots of crispy chewy pieces and crevices. A little gooey in the middle for my preference, but overall better than grocery store for sure. Buttermilk bar was just that. Soft, sweet, goodness. One if the better ones I've had in awhile. The cake doughnut, meh. Not my fav. And the cronut had great flavor, but texturally seemed line it was old. It was tough to actually bite through. So, so hard/chewy. Not what I wanted out of a cronut, which should be flaky lightly chewy, and buttery goodness of angels. Overall, not on my definitely need to go back to lists, but not on my never go again.
