| - I had a terrible experience with Alex and team. My battery on my iPhone needed to be replaced as soon as possible, and after reading great recommendations, I called Alex & team to make an appointment. The woman who answered my call was very nice and told me the process. Unfortunately Alex was out for the remainer of the day (it was 1pm) and they couldn't get me in until the next day.
Drove 25 minutes out to their Huntersville shop on my lunch break to get my phone fixed and arrived 15 minutes early. For those of you who haven't been there, the shop is off the main strip, in a slightly dodgy area in rundown shops directly next to train tracks.
As soon as I parked my car, I received a phone call from the receptionist saying she was sorry but Alex was sick and they had to cancel. I told her I was in the parking lot and I wished she had told me sooner, and she told me "Alex had left and there was nothing she could do about it". Although she was apologetic, there was a bit of irratitation in her voice at my questions. You can imagine, I wasn't the happiest at that moment because I now had to race back to work and wasted my lunch for nothing.
She offered to call me back and have Alex schedule an appointment with me the next day, and that Alex would come to my office. I tried to make an appointment with her for the next day, but she said she had to check with Alex if it was "okay". Shouldn't receptionist's know her boss' schedule? Also, who cancels on someone less than 15 minutes before the appointment?
That was last week. I never received a phone call. I called them back that following day, because I can't take off alot of time during the day due to working full time and needed notice if he was coming or not. The phone kept ringing.
I don't know who Alex is, but apparently he doesn't need the business.
I did stumble upon a lovely iphone repair service in Huntersville in the Home Goods strip of shops (off exit 25( who fixed my phone in 20 minutes and charged me less than Alex's rate.
