  • Warning! do not have your oil changed here! I had my oil changed back in June for my 2013 Chevy truck, I went today for my appointment, the counter guy tried to sell me the Dextros1 oil job at a much higher price and I said I just want what you guys did last time. He said that if they wrong oil was put in my truck and had warranty issue and showed the Chevy dealer the Fletcher's receipt of what they did last time if would void my engine warranty. I said then why did they not say anything last time, he said "I don't know but my guys are trained to say something". I said then if they put the wrong oil in last time then way didn't your guys say anything, he said "I don't know". He handed me a piece of paper from a non Chevy web page stating that my truck needed the Dextros 5-30w oil for my 5.3 engine. I left and researched this to be true. But they still put in the wrong oil in back in June based on the work done that's in their computer system as a basic oil change. I bet he is changing that right now.
