I wish I could leave a better review because the salon was awesome, the staff seemed very friendly and I'm hoping my nail tech was having just an off day.
This was my first visit to Bella Mia and it came highly recommended by my mother in law who is in at least every other week. When booking my appointment I explained on the phone that I currently had a gel set that needed to be filled but I wanted just a polish fill rather than gel.
I come into the salon and sit down and my tech points out annoyed that I have get which again, I had explained earlier. She said she would charge me 5 dollars more to remove the gel which I was okay with and I don't think she actually did (which is appreciated.)
I explained that I wanted the same design that I had currently on my ring fingers which was fairly simple.
She then explained that she usually does designs on gel because if she messes up she would have to redo the polish as well. But she then had me pull up the picture for her and was willing to try.
At the end when I think she's going to do the design she wrote out my receipt handed it to me and walked out. That's it, she didn't explain to me that she didn't want to do the design after all or anything. She also left underneath my nails a mess as well, there was powder and small lumps of acrylic not buffed out on every nail.
Had she said something to me I probably wouldn't have been as upset but don't just leave your customer hanging when you had explained earlier that you would try to do something.
I don't think I would come back unfortunately and if I did, I wouldn't go back to that same tech.
