| - It's a shame that this business has good services to offer, but one short-tempered, impatient and belligerent employee named Jeff who turns customers away.
Jeff claimed that he was the only one who would be able to fix my boss' Apple computer when I first brought it in (which obviously isn't true). Jeff doesn't want to be held accountable for his work, doesn't like answering to others (especially to a female half his age), but rather wants to hold his customers hostage and work at his own desired pace. I'm sure he has the skillset to get the work done, but his "high and mighty" attitude and hostility are completely unacceptable. If he's the store manager, this place desperately needs to be put under new management with Jeff placed in the back to do what he can do best with a screwdriver.
1) On first visit to drop off my computer, he demanded I give him my phone to speak to my boss because he didn't like me mediating the conversation. (Chauvinism is nothing new.)
2) He accused me of calling the store too often (20 times to be exact) and impeding progress of his work. The truth? I called twice to check on the status of a system backup when he said it would be ready for pickup. The second time he didn't even answer the phone (they have caller ID).
3) He was exceptionally hostile when I went to pickup my backup drive; rolling his eyes at me when I walked in, refused to fix my computer saying we're not giving him enough time to do his work and calling the store too often, raising his voice and yelling at me, and interrupting me and shaking his head when I was trying to ask him questions, refusing to even look at me while I was talking.
Again, my advice for this business is to find a replacement for this man and put him in a job that better suits his personality.
