If you stayed in a hotel outside the beautiful USA then you have seen real hotels. In America I have yet to find a hotel which can even think of competing with the European and Asian ones.
This Marriott however is a good attempt. The staff is wonderful , cheered up, service minded and professional. Okay, the lady at breakfast is not even trying to smile, but it must be typical for people who work an early day shift. Lounge is ok, again with great staff. Rooms are a bit outdated but the bed is comfortable. Enough parking and directly at highway. Close to restaurants and the beechwood minimall. This is surely the preferred hotel over that dreadful embassy and even worse doubletree (what a miserable place that is). This is my preferred hotel. One thing: don't take your dinner and room service here. The food is enormously awful. Chicken is so dry that it is at the verge of turning to powder. Ice cream lived in the fridge for several years. Soup looked to be scooped directly out of Lake Erie. Do yourself and your health a favor and take your breakfast and lunch at panera down the corner. Take your dinner at bahama breeze or Mitchell's fish place or even of Chang. All within 2 mile radius.
